We built the chauffeur service we wanted to be driven by.
GoLula is an all-electric chauffeur service operating in Johannesburg and Cape Town. We move executives, visitors and families between Johannesburg’s airports, offices and homes — quietly, on a fixed fare, in a car that was new this year.
Why electric, honestly
Not for the badge. Because after forty minutes in Johannesburg traffic, the difference between an electric cabin and a combustion one is something you feel rather than something you read about.
There is no engine noise to talk over and no vibration through the seat. Power arrives smoothly instead of in surges, so the car doesn’t lurch through stop-start traffic. There is no petrol smell in the cabin and no exhaust at the pick-up bay. You step out at your meeting exactly as you got in.
Zero tailpipe emissions matter too — particularly to the companies whose sustainability reporting now has to account for business travel. But we would run these cars for the ride quality alone.
What we hold ourselves to
The fare does not move
You are quoted before you travel and that is what you pay. Not at 05:00, not in December, not when the M1 stops. If a trip runs long, that is our problem to absorb, not a line on your invoice.
The car is booked, not hoped for
Every booking is allocated a specific vehicle and chauffeur in advance. Nobody stands outside arrivals watching a map, wondering whether a driver will accept.
Vetted chauffeurs, not strangers
Our drivers are screened, licensed and briefed on how our passengers travel. Corporate accounts get named chauffeurs who learn the routine — which terminal, which entrance, how much conversation.
Current-year cars, prepared every trip
Every vehicle in the fleet is a 2026 model, finished in black, charged and cleaned between journeys. Nothing tired, nothing borrowed at short notice.
Where we operate
We operate in Johannesburg and Cape Town. In Gauteng we work across Sandton and the northern suburbs — Rosebank, Bryanston, Midrand, Fourways and surrounds — with regular runs to OR Tambo, Lanseria and Pretoria.
If your journey starts or ends outside that, ask us. We would rather tell you honestly whether we can do it well than take a booking we cannot serve properly.
