Cape Town airport transfers
Cape Town International sits roughly 20 kilometres from the city centre. On a clear run that is around 20 to 30 minutes; in the afternoon peak along the N2 it can be considerably longer, and in peak summer season the airport itself is slow to clear.

How long the airport run really takes
Cape Town International sits about 20 kilometres from the City Bowl on the N2. Off-peak that is 20 to 25 minutes. In the morning inbound peak, or on a Friday afternoon heading out of town, allow 45 minutes to an hour.
From the Atlantic Seaboard — Sea Point, Green Point, Camps Bay, Clifton — add ten to fifteen minutes over a City Bowl pick-up. From the Winelands it is a different journey altogether, usually 45 minutes to an hour depending on where you are staying.
As in Johannesburg, we set the pick-up time from your flight number rather than from a rule of thumb, and we track the flight on the day.
Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and the wine route
A large share of Cape Town arrivals are heading straight out to the Winelands, and it is a trip that rewards not driving yourself. Stellenbosch is roughly 50 kilometres from the airport, Franschhoek closer to 75, and both are more pleasant approached on the N1 or the R44 than through the city.
For a day on the wine route the sensible booking is hourly hire rather than a transfer: the car stays with you, bags and purchases stay in the boot, and nobody in your party has to nominate a driver.

Twenty to twenty-five minutes off-peak on the N2, and up to an hour in the morning inbound peak. We set your pick-up from your flight, not from an average.

Yes. For Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Paarl we usually recommend hourly hire rather than a one-way transfer, so the car stays with you for the day.
Do you collect from the V&A Waterfront and hotels?
Yes. We collect from hotels, guest houses, private residences, the Waterfront, the CTICC and the cruise terminal.
Do you cover the Northern Suburbs?
Yes. Durbanville, Bellville, Century City, Milnerton, Table View and Blouberg are all within our normal operating area.
